The Municipality of Bærum invited tree artists to intervene in the public space of Sandvika in June 2013. Lise Wulff drew a line of sand on one of the bridges across the river.
Being a main link from one side of the city to the other, the bridge is busy and full of people. Some discovered the line, and adapted to it, others did not see it.
I wanted to explore the force of a simple line.
Over a period of two weeks, the line was gradually erased, turning into a thin layer of sand on the whole bridge, and finally removed. The video shows the very start of the process.
