The Norwegian newspaper Budstikka writes about the outdoor art installation “Kalkovn” commissioned by Vettre Torg. In collaboration with Riri Green, Lise Wulff involves 140 pupils in creating their own ceramic tiles which are to be mounted on a sculpture at Vettre, just outside Oslo, Norway.

The pupils learnt about the local history from the director of Asker Museum, Fredrikke Hegnar von Ubish. Based on this, they have made their personal interpretations and drawings, which they have transferred to the ceramic tiles. The pupils have gone through the whole process from cutting the clay to finished tiles.

The 4 meter tall outdoor installation will be finished by September 2016.
