Lise Wulff receives grant from Nordic Culture Point


The grant “Mobility Funding” is part of the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture, financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Ministers of culture in the Baltic countries. The overall objective of the programme is to enhance cultural and artistic collaboration in the Nordic and Baltic countries by supporting traveling, networking and residential activities. Lise Wulff is granted support for her participating in the outdoor exhibition “A Clear Day” at Nääs Castle just outside Gothenburg, Sweden. Five Nordic artists are invited to a residency, working on site, leading up to the exhibition opening the 20th of May.

The exhibition “A Clear Day” will take place at Nääs Castle, just outside Gothenburg, from the 20th of May to the 30th of September 2017. Five artists from the Nordic region are invited: Maria Lilja (S), Mikael Hansen (D), Kaisu Koivisto (F), Cecilia Parsberg (S), and Lise Wulff (N). Organizers are “Ett kryss för tanken” and Nääs Konsthantverk. The artists will be working on site before the exhibition. During the exhibition period, there will be several seminars and work shops. Jalovik Residency Program


Jalovik Art Colony in Serbia is a residency program with long traditions, dating back to 1978. Offering both work space and exhibitions, the art colony is an attractive place for artists, rising to a number of 160 residency artists during the years. Lise Wulff took part in 2012. I love coming to new places to work. The people you meet, the objects and materials you may find, the buildings and sorroundings,… it creates such a good possibility for new things happening. Jalovik is such a place.      

Residency at ArtMill, Czech Republic


ArtMill Center for Sustainable Creativity aims at bringing the pressing environmental issues of our time into tangible art forms that inspire, ignite and engage the public. Placed in Horazdovice, Czech Repbulic, it gathers artist from all over the world. The old mill is full of treasures! Lise Wulff worked with found objects that she altered and later exhibited in Galerie Califia. She also took part in the eco art project Ahoj!, building a plastic bottle raft to sail on the Vltava river in Prague.    

“Landscape – revisited” in Slovakia


Outdoor group exhibition in Dúbravica, 2011. Seven international artists were invited for a residency with the aim of establishing an outdoor gallery in Dúbravica, just outside Banská Bystica. The project was supported by the Slovakian Ministry of Culture and ArtToday, and Mexican Carlos Carmonamedina curated the exhibition. Lise Wulff made three pieces; Some day I’ll go my own way, Perpetuality and Defenders. All works made use of materials found on site, as well as elements from nature.
