Woven water

Exhibition at Berger Museum, Norway, 2014.

The lake outside the old factory building is part of an art work inspired by the production that used to be inside; namely weaving. The water and the wooden boards have now taken the place of the yarn as the threads of the weave. And while the water makes up the backdrop, the wooden boards create the pattern in this carpet of water.

Stong interconnections being the base of a weave; here with a mixture of natural elements and materials produced by humans, the interconnectedness and mutual impact between humans and nature is put to exposure.

Documented throughout the seasons of the year, the effects of perpetual changes of nature is made visible.
