Artist Lise Wulff invites the citizens of Svelvik to join her in making the installation Threads that Tie Together”. The local new paper wrote about the project.
The juried exhibition “Dobbeltgjenger” shows the work of 14 artist from Asker Bildende Kunstnere. Lise Wulff showed the sculpture “Wearing or tearing the second layer”. The local newspaper Budstikka writes about the opening:
Home is a Foreign Place is a commissioned art installation from the Municipality of Bærum, for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert 2016. It is a relational art project by Lise Wulff and Vigdis Storsveen, involving refugees to Norway and Norwegian youth. The work reflects on the concept of «home» and deals with topics such as self-sufficiency, sustainability, housing and real estate. It is made from reclaimed wood painted in colours that the participants related to the word “home”. The installation is centrally placed in the busy roundabout outside the concert area Telenor Arena. The Art Prize of the Municipality of Bærum 2016 was given to Lise Wulff for her land art project “Some Day I’ll go my Own Way”, during the opening of the exhibition “Borders and Boundaries” in Bærum Kunsthall. Lise Wulff has collected photos from people and historical archives. She presents them as collages with informative texts, revealing the history behind well known places and names like Brambanigården and Løkketangen. Here we find a lot of interesting material. Wulff has also made a video collage about the movement Egne Hjem. The collectively financed houses was built by the typographers from the capital’s newspapers from 1900, and Wulff follows one of the houses in a well told and low-voiced story.
Bærum Revisited is a visual meeting with the local history of the municipality of Bærum, Norway, from approximately 1870 until today. In this work commissioned by Henie Onstad Kunstsenter for the exhibition UTOPIA BÆRUM, Lise Wulff invited people to share their photos and stories with her. She also made use of archive photos from the local library. Special attention was given to daily life situations and stories so far unknow to the broader audience.
The local newspaper Budstikka writes about the installation of LIME KILN, an outdoor art work commissioned by Moen Eiendom AS for Vettre Torg in Norway. The art work is a collaboration with Riri Green and 140 pupils at Vettre school, who have made their own ceramic tiles with drawings inspired by the local history.

Lise Wulff has been invited to participate in the exhibition UTOPIA BÆRUM at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter. Her project is a relational art work about the local history of Bærum, Norway. Now she is inviting people to contact her, if they have old photos and stories they would like to share. The local newspaper Budstikka has interviewed the Director of Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, Tone Hansen, and artist Lise Wulff about the projects, and sends the invitation to participate to its readers.
“Woven Stone” is an eco art work by Lise Wulff. A large and powerful stone is ubicated at the edge of a mountain side in Hemsedal. The area is wild and beatuiful, but also tamed by human interventions like skiflitfs and slopes. A net of yarn covers the stone. The color of the yarn – acidic bright green – makes the stone look alien from a distance. Coming up close, the viewer will see that the color is exactly the same as the brightest moose on the stone. The Scream from Nature is an eco art project which aims to raise consciousness about the relationship between humans and nature. The project is a contemporary interpretation of Edvard Munch’s masterpiece the Scream, in which the iconic anxiety-ridden face is recreated outdoors in nature, with a variety of materials. The Scream from Nature eco art project features on the ArtCOP21 web page. During the COP in Paris, gathering some 190 countries, ArtCOP21 presents art events and actions on climate change.

In relation to the exhibition “Edvard Munch. Arquetipos” at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid, Lise Wulff was invited to speak about Edvard Munch, his view on and use of nature, as well as her own art works in nature. A main theme of the speech was how everything is interconnected, clearly stated here by Edvard Munchs lovely woodcut Kiss, where not only the man and women melt into one, but even the material of the work melts into the rendered figures. In the Euromaxx Series “Masterpieces Revisited”, ten icons of the art history is presented, as well as ten contemporary artists working with the icons respectively. Lise Wulff was interviewed related to The Scream by Edvard Munch and her work with the eco art project The Scream from Nature.
Lise Wulff’s site specifice and living installation in Slovakia is featured in Kunsthåndverk 2/2015. A series of photos documents the continuous changes of her work “Some day, I’ll go my own way”.
Deutsche Welle and Basiliscus Production visited Lise Wulff related to her eco art project The Scream from Nature. Deutsche Welle is producing a ten part series about icons in the art history, such as Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci and the Scream by Edvard Munch. The series will present the master pieces them selves, and show how contemporary artists have been inspired by them and interpreted them.
Lise Wulff talked about her travel to Myanmar, where 350 solar lamps were donated to schools and orphanages in the Inle Lake area, as part of her Scream from Nature eco art project.
